Never thought I'd write that. But I've been stressing all day about what would happen if Samantha DIDN'T imprison me and then I'd have to deal with Otto or Delilah suspecting me for manipulating them. I taunted her through PMs to encourage her to choose me. And I was like "God, please just give me one freaking break in this game and let Samantha imprison me so I don't have to deal with this shit. I have theater tickets tomorrow. Just let me fucking enjoy my show in peace."

Whew. Breathe in, breathe out.

Sam, thank you so much for putting together Spies 5. I had a great time. It was ...

Wow ... I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed right now. Heh.

I really liked the cast this time. There are some people, like Apollo, Xavier, and Jillian who I can't wait to meet. Some dependable friends who I can't wait to sit down and dish the dirt with.

If there's one thing I'd like people to read some time after the game ends, it's: Get to know the other people in this series on a personal basis. The truth is, my life is better because of the friendships I've made through this game. I now have a network of people throughout the world whose couch I can crash on if I travel. Who make me laugh on a regular basis. Who teach me things about their cultures, help me explore who I am and discover what I believe. My friendships are in no way limited to Spies. I have a strong network of family and friends outside the game. But you can never have too many friends, and there are some really great people in this series. Just because we meet each other through an online game does not make the friendships less real or important.

If it's at the point post-game where you've read this and we haven't talked, let's fix that. IM me to say hi. Seriously.

Thanks to everyone who has enriched my life inside and out of the game. Time to go catch up in the Loser Lounge :)

Seriously though the one thing I’ve loved about my time playing these online games whether it’s Survivor or Spies or whatever are the people you meet. You meet so many random and unique individuals who are all brought together with a common interest that I’d never imagine I’d ever meet. I honestly have learnt so much about other people, other perspectives on life and so on just from spending time with people like you all. I’m amazed that after every game I play I manage to make a good friend or two that I still talk to when it’s all over. It’s pretty awesome.

It’s also a reason why I really like Spies a lot more than Survivor games. These games don’t get personal like other games do. If someone votes for you, you don’t get offended (well you shouldn’t at least) and no one has to feel the need to constantly backstab or lie unless of course you are a spy, which everyone doesn’t care about if you do because it's your job to do it. I was looking over past Survivor games I’ve played and I’ve always felt so horrible lying to and backstabbing people (Sorry Trey! Was looking at Orange haha) and I’m really glad to have found a place to meet new people, play in a competition of sorts and not have to worry about people making things personal.
